Health Impact
Vegetable oils are high in omega 6 fatty acids, throwing off our bodies healthy balance of omega 3 to 6 and leading to chronic inflammation and as a result are linked to increased risk of heart disease.
Vegetable oils contain unsaturated fats that oxidize when exposed to heat, triggering inflammation in the body, and are often processed with the chemical hexane which destroys the stability of the oil and turn it rancid, often creating trans fats.
