Definition
Artificial sweetener often derived from aspartame and vanillin and generally found in beverages or beverage powders. Advantame is 20,000 times sweeter than table sugar and can be used for baking and cooking.
Health Impact
Artificial sweetener that can harm the gut and negatively impact gluten tolerance. Can also negatively impact metabolism, which may increase risk of certain diseases like type II diabetes, obesity, inflammatory bowel disease and some cancers.
