Hello Trash Panda family! Julia here - founder and general manager. I am excited to share with you some new features that have arrived to Trash Panda this week! But first, I want to thank you for your support over the past year. Trash Panda has been growing steadily since our launch in May of 2021, and now has over 43k downloads! We know that much of our growth is attributed to YOU sharing Trash Panda with friends and family. Thank you!
New Trash Panda Membership Now Available!
Many of you have asked how to support Trash Panda’s mission further. We are excited to announce that there will now be a membership option that will enable you to do just that. Plus, unlock additional features in the app!
Rest assured, all the features you know and love will continue to remain 100% free. This includes scanning and searching for an unlimited number of products. We believe strongly that ingredients information should be available to anyone, and want to ensure our insights remain free for all users.
What’s in the Membership?
In addition to supporting Trash Panda, the Membership will provide exclusive access to curated shopping lists by grocery store, dietary preferences, and more. We have added over 10 shopping lists so far, and new lists will be added every week.
All membership lists can be found under the “Lists” menu item in the app. We will be adding additional features to the Membership moving forward, and would love to hear your thoughts! How do I sign up?
The Trash Panda Membership is available via in-app purchase in the Trash Panda App. Simply navigate to a Premium List or to the My Account section of Settings to purchase. The Membership costs $2.49/month (less than a coffee!) and is billed annually.
And….to celebrate the launch of the Membership and to thank you for being a first adopter, we’re currently offering a 7-day free trial! Here’s how to redeem:
On iOS: Tap “Redeem Code” on the purchase screen, and use code 7DAYSFREE to access the trial.
On Android: Tap “Become a Member” and select the option to use a promo code as your payment method. Finally, if you would like to become a member, but cost is an issue, please let us know so we can find an affordable option for you.
